With the new round of funds able to clear the current waitlist, additional funding is now available to Maryland residents who intend to install qualified solar photovoltaic, or solar hot water systems.

Given the rapidly growing demand for solar energy in the state, the Maryland Energy Administration has implemented new guidelines for the Solar Energy Grant Program in an effort to support funding through the end of Fiscal Year 2010. Any application received after September 1, 2009 will be subject to the following parameters…
