Maryland is a great place to install solar panels. Germany is one of the largest solar markets in the world and they do not have solar conditions as good as we do in Maryland. The maps below show the comparison. The darker colors represent more intense sun exposure. So, whether you are installing a solar water heater or a solar PV system, Maryland is a great place.

Are you worried about what your HOA (Home Owners Association) would say about your proposed solar panel installation? HOA’s help keep neighborhoods nice, but they can make things difficult for homeowners considering home improvements visible from the exterior.
